This is a project I have been working on for a while (mostly rendering it though, it came in a 2 days 10 hours). This is my interpretation of what a front row seat to a super nova would look like, very spectacular but a bit close.

Thank you. And yes, it took that long to render when it actually worked. The first few (I think five) times the got about a day or so through and then just stopped, so I had to restart it and then again and again. But, the reason it took SOO long to render is everything in there is a volumetric of some sort, or a visible light: and those take the longest to render in Bryce.

And I'm just wondering...have you ever done any animations in Bryce? Besides the ones that are required for that one class?

I think if you go to "submit deviations," there's a film upgrade you can get, but I have heard that it's difficult...hold on, I'm waiting for the link to work........if it will work...............
